Red Lobster property deal largest Sebastian County transaction in January

Sale of the property on which Red Lobster (7401 Rogers Ave.) is located sold in January for $6.7 million, the largest January property deal in Sebastian County, according to information from the office of Sebastian County Assessor Zach Johnson.

Because I Love Horses LLC sold the property to 1120 South Walton Partners LLC. Corporate records show Fort Smith businessman Kane Whitt as organizer of 1120 South Walton Partners. Whitt is a partner with Chris Whitt and Storm Nolan in CSK Hotels, a hotel management company with operations that include locations in Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee. Kevin Fuksa, based in Rogers, was the agent with the seller.

The second largest January transaction in the county was a $5.384 million home purchased by the Terry and Mary Anne Poling Trust from Don Wise Construction. The home, purchased on Jan. 21, is located in Fort Smith.

The third largest deal in the month was a $4.364 million sale of commercial property at 100 U.S. 71 South in Huntington. Abuzar Ghaffari purchased the property Jan. 7 from Mian, Babar & Farooq, according to Assessor’s office info.
