McWhorter named CEO of 2 Northwest Health facilities
Juli McWhorter has been promoted to CEO of Willow Creek Women’s Hospital in Johnson and Northwest Health Physicians’ Specialty Hospital (PSH) in Fayetteville.
Both facilities are affiliates of Springdale-based Northwest Health.
“I am so excited for Juli and PSH,” Chris York, Market Chief Executive Officer for Northwest Health, said in a statement. “Her accomplishments as a leader at Willow Creek and her steadfast commitment to quality and patient satisfaction will continue advancing the clinical care and service provided at this hospital.”
McWhorter has worked for Northwest Health for nearly 30 years. She had been the chief administrative officer of Willow Creek since 2019 and was previously the hospital’s chief operating officer and chief nursing officer.
McWhorter started her career as a charge nurse in the surgical intensive care unit. She also has nursing experience in cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac stepdown, patient education and flight nursing. She has worked in a number of leadership positions for Northwest Health, including as chief quality officer and director of critical care services for Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville.
Willow Creek Women’s Hospital is a 64-bed, full-service facility dedicated to women’s health needs, including obstetrics, a Level III NICU, hidden scar breast surgery and 3D mammography. PSH is a 20-bed facility with five operating rooms and a special procedure room.
