Former Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Allen Kerr opens consulting and lobbying group
Former Arkansas Insurance Commissioner Allen Kerr launched a new consulting and lobbying firm, Allen Kerr Advisors.
Kerr said his firm will help clients navigate the legislative and regulatory landscapes in Arkansas, other states, and at the federal level.
Kerr previously served as Arkansas’ 23rd State Insurance Commissioner from January 2015 until March 27, 2020.
He also served as an elected member in the Arkansas House of Representatives, District 32 in Little Rock from 2008 to 2014.
He owned a successful insurance agency prior to serving as Insurance Commissioner.
“I have been in this business for nearly four decades,” said Kerr. “In every position I have held, it has always been about achieving excellence for those I am serving. I am glad to be able to offer that same expertise to companies and individuals here in my home state alongside a talented team.”
