Encore Bank announced Wednesday (Oct. 6) it is expanding into Birmingham, Ala. The Little Rock-based boutique bank said it has added two veteran bankers to its team to head up the expansion.

“Encore is committed to serving our clients and communities in extraordinary ways,” said Phillip Jett, Encore Bank’s Vice Chairman and Chief Banking Officer. “With our personalized and client-centered approach to banking, we know the people of Birmingham will soon understand the Encore Difference.”

Encore hired Brent Balogh as the Executive Vice President and Birmingham Regional President and Mark Feagin as the Senior Vice President and Business Development and Treasury Management Officer.

Balogh comes to Encore Bank from the Community Bank of Mississippi, where he held the position of Senior Vice President.
