If you weren’t in your current profession, what would you be doing? I’d be a park ranger. I love spending time in the wilderness and would enjoy helping others discover the same passion.

What is the most used app on your phone? Podcasts is definitely my most used app, but Asana would be a close second.

In your company/industry, what are the main differences between pre- and post- COVID-19? Companies have become much more serious about e-commerce. There’s more demand for what we do but also more competition.

What is one thing you would change about your company if you could today? I’d want Bold to have “on the ground” capability outside the U.S. so that we could bring e-commerce simplification to more companies in more places.What’s the most interesting thing about you that isn’t on your resume? In total, I’ve spent more than a year of my life sleeping outside under the stars.

If you had $1 million to give, what would you support? I would give it to Operation Homefront. They make a big difference for our military families.

What is the best business advice you have ever received? Play to your strengths.

What’s the most recent book you read? I re-read one of my all time favorites: “The Martian Chronicles” by Ray Bradbury.

In one sentence, can you express what the most important thing about being a leader is? Lead by example. It’s what the Army taught me over 20 years ago, and it’s still principle No. 1 for me.

What keeps you up at night or worries you the most? The idea of letting my family or my team down.
