Arkansas businesses make Inc. 5000 list

New York-based Inc. magazine has released its annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the country, and it includes 12 Northwest Arkansas businesses.

Rogers-based marketing agency Bold Strategies, which helps clients with their online marketplace and direct-to-consumer e-commerce efforts, was the fastest-growing Arkansas company at No. 259 and had a three-year growth rate of 1,781% from 2017 to 2020. The company, led by president Allan Peretz, was founded in 2017.

Rankings are based on how fast a company’s revenue increased in a three-year period. Companies submit data to make the Inc. 5000 list. In order to qualify, the business must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017.

At No. 271, Bentonville-based talent management firm Stratice posted a 1,720% growth rate. The women-owned company, co-led by Jordan Franklin and Robin Hampton, was founded in 2015 by Scott Franklin.

At No. 921, Fayetteville-based financial services company The Cabana Group reported a 524% growth rate. Chadd Mason is the CEO and co-founder of Cabana Asset Management, a fee-only registered investment adviser and subsidiary of The Cabana Group.

Rogers-based renewable energy company Shine Solar was No. 1,482 with a 319% growth rate. Led by CEO Nick Gorden, the company was founded in 2016.

Fayetteville-based transportation and logistics firm Avid Holdings was No. 2,113 with a 206% growth rate. Avid Holdings is an agency for Fayetteville-based Giltner Inc. and was founded in 2015.

At No. 2,657, Fayetteville-based insurance agency G&G Independent Insurance reported a 153% growth rate. CEO Jordan Greer founded the company in 2014.

Six other Arkansas businesses made the list, and all but one is based in Little Rock, including Apptegy (No. 738), Integrity Construction of Arkansas (No. 1,027), Chenal Family Therapy (No. 1,704), MHP/Team SI (No. 2,285) and Ron Sherman Adversiting (No. 4,418). Jonesboro-based Sebastian Tech Systems was No. 1,091.

Overall, the 18 Arkansas businesses on the list comprised 196% median growth, $429.4 million in revenue and 1,993 jobs added.
