Jaclyn Henderson grew up in Rogers, which is evident in her professional and personal approach to making the region a better place.
Working for Regions Bank for the past 15 years, the company promoted her to vice president in 2016. She is the bank’s contact for corporate, governmental and nonprofit entities in the region.
“I love the lending side, especially commercial,” she said. “I am amazed at the ways our business community creates and innovates to make life better. You can feel the pulse of Northwest Arkansas.”
Henderson started her banking career as a teller for a small community bank while attending high school. Regions Bank hired her while she was attending the University of Arkansas, where she graduated in 2007 with an accounting degree and a minor in finance.
With Regions, Henderson has moved through the ranks, starting with retail banking, lending, credit underwriting and portfolio management.
“I like puzzles and problem-solving and how I can help a business be the best business it can be,” she said.
Henderson holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals.
Outside the office, Henderson is active in numerous endeavors. She coaches youth volleyball, serves on the Rogers Civil Service Commission, is vice president for the Rogers Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Committee, and is a Rogers Public Education Foundation board member.
Henderson is also a Leadership Benton County graduate, and earlier this year, NorthWest Arkansas Community College appointed her to its foundation board.
“It is your civic duty to give back to the community that gives you so much,” she said. “We are very fortunate in Northwest Arkansas to have the philanthropic spirit that we do.”
