Connections: Springdale chamber hires Travis Feltner in communications role

Travis Feltner has been named director of communications of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.

Feltner, a 2007 graduate of the University of Arkansas, earned his Master of Arts in journalism in December. A former small-business owner and television weather anchor, Feltner will lead the chamber’s work to promote the city as a destination for business, leisure and recreational travel.

In addition, he will direct the chamber’s event and program marketing efforts.
