Real Deals: Schuber Mitchell pays $3.4 million for Centerton land

Subdivision-ready land in Centerton sold recently for $3.4 million.

Missouri-based Schuber Mitchell Homes bought 162 acres. The land is west of Walters Road, about 1 mile north of Bentonville West High School and Centerton Gamble Elementary School.

The purchase price equals 48 cents per square foot. Cynthia Coughlin was the seller.

City Bank Trust of Lubbock, Texas, financed the purchase. Larry Horton, owner of Bentonville Real Estate, brokered the deal.

HARBOR INVESTMENT
A renovated retail building in Siloam Springs changed hands recently in a $1.96 million deal.

SS Realty LP of North York, Ontario, Canada, bought the 22,800-square-foot building at 1401 Highway 412 West. The purchase price equals $86 per square foot. MDTH Transformer LLC of South Carolina was the seller.

City Title & Closing of Fayetteville was the title agent.

California-based Harbor Freight Tools is the single-story building’s sole tenant. The triple-net lease is for 15 years and expires in 2035.

MDTH paid $1.1 million for the building in February 2020.

BRUSH CREEK BUY
A 54-acre residential property in Springdale has a new owner after a recent sale worth $1.2 million.

Bryan and Rona Taylor bought the 4,724-square-foot home on Brush Creek Road. Quoc-Anh and Chelsea Thai were the sellers.

Waco Title Co. of Springdale was the title agent. Jason McClure with Weichert, Realtors-The Griffin Co. in Springdale was the listing agent. Richard Rolfingsmeyer with RE/MAX Real Estate Results in Bentonville represented the buyer.

Thai paid $980,000 for the property in November 2018. The residence was renovated in 2019. The property includes a 3,000-square-foot horse barn.

‘ACTION’ ACQUISITION
New commercial construction in Johnson changed hands recently for $850,000.

Oklahoma-based medical equipment provider Action Seating & Mobility (ASM), through its ASM NWA LLC, bought the 9,300-square-foot warehouse/office building at 2219 Hawks Landing. The purchase price equals $91.39 per square foot. Mission Plaza LLC, whose members include Stuart Collier and Clay Morton, was the seller.

RCB Bank in Claremore, Okla., backed the deal with a 10-year, $750,000 loan. Waco Title Co. of Springdale was the title agent. Jenna Gill with Collier & Associates in Bentonville was the listing agent.

ASM will relocate its store at 2603 Main Drive in Johnson to the new building. The company will occupy 4,650 square feet and sublease the remaining space.

Mission Plaza paid $137,000 for the lot (0.9 acres) in July 2018. WWW Johnson South LLC, managed by Joe Whiteside, was the seller.

‘GIANT’ GRAB
A vacant 6,355-square foot commercial building in Fayetteville has a new owner after a recent $835,000 sale. The purchase price equals $131.39 per square foot.

Giant Buildings LLC, whose members include Matt Horner and Hunter Woodhall, bought the single-story building at 427 N. College Ave. Mark Zweig Inc. of Fayetteville was the seller.

Batesville-based Citizens Bank financed the deal with a 20-year loan of $709,750. City Title & Closing of Fayetteville was the title agent. Jeff Pederson with Lindsey & Associates in Fayetteville brokered the deal.

Zweig paid $205,000 for the building in April 2017. It was built in the 1950s and previous tenants included a drugstore, karate studio and flea market.
