Armor Bank has entered the Hot Springs market by hiring David Trice as Market President.

Trice will office out of the bank’s loan production office located at 3948 Central, Suite D, while a branch location is being constructed this year to open in the fourth quarter of 2021.

“As we look to break ground this spring, I know David will provide exceptional leadership in overseeing our commitment to Hot Springs,” said Chad May, Armor Bank CEO. “We’re proud to be in this market and we look forward to investing in this economy at a very localized level.”

Trice, a Stuttgart native and University of Arkansas graduate, joins Armor Bank with nearly 20 years of banking experience in areas including operations, management, and lending. Prior to joining Armor Bank, Trice served in Hot Springs as Commercial Lending Manager overseeing multiple markets across the state.

“I’ve witnessed the culture at Armor Bank,” Trice said. “A customer-centric approach is important, and I think there’s a lot of opportunity for that to be well-received here. I’m excited to go to work with a team that can provide a focused, specialized client experience the people and small businesses of Hot Springs deserve.”

Armor Bank’s holding company, Big Creek Bancshares, is headquartered in Moro, Arkansas (Lee County).
