Kevin Mahoney is the new executive vice president and team lead over Acosta’s Walmart and Sam’s Club business. Acosta is a CPG sales and marketing agency.
Mahoney replaces Jim Daniels, effective this week. Mahoney has nearly three decades of experience and has logged nearly two years at Acosta where he has served as senior vice president of client development.
Prior to that, Mahoney held similar roles at LG Electronics from 2015 to early 2019 and Callaway Golf from 2005 to early 2016. Mahoney is based in the Northwest Arkansas office of Acosta, which is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.
Daniels made the announcement in an internal memo obtained by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
“Kevin’s background and passion will serve the team and clients well … he is the right person to lead the team going forward,” Daniels said in the memo.
Daniels did not disclose what his career plans will entail after he departs the company on Friday (Oct. 16.)
