Mainstream Technologies partners with TB&P for free webinar series on cyber security

To recognize that October being “Cyber Security Awareness Month,” Mainstream Technologies and Talk Business & Politics will host a series of free webinars to coincide with the national awareness effort.
Five weekly sessions of 20-minute duration will be held every Thursday in October to highlight real-world cases of cyber attacks.
Based on actual events, panel discussions will include cases involving small-to-medium sized businesses as well as large enterprises. Talk Business & Politics Roby Brock will lead a weekly panel discussion with Mainstream Technologies officials and other experts on a variety of subject matter.
Each session will address how the breaches were perpetrated and how they could have been avoided.
The lineup for the series is as follows:
Oct. 1: Spear Phishing nets $100,000 from CEO, CFO
Oct. 8: Bitcoin and Russian hackers
Oct. 15: Equifax breach could have been avoided
Oct. 22: How a hotel reservation makes you a target
Oct. 23: Big hitters in politics are prime targets
