Texas PR firm opens office in Fayetteville

Resplendent Hospitality, a Texas-based public relations and communications agency with an Arkansas connection, opened a physical office at 211 E. Dickson St. in downtown Fayetteville earlier this year.

Mary Mickel and Ali Slutsky started the business in Austin in 2012. Mickel, an Arkansas native and University of Arkansas graduate, leads the Fayetteville office and its four employees. An office in Austin has seven employees.

“Resplendent is thrilled to have expanded to a second office in Northwest Arkansas,” Mickel said. “As a native Arkansan and University or Arkansas alum, this region was the only place I wanted to raise my family. There are so many compelling brands and institutions that call Arkansas home, and we’d be honored to be a small part of that story.”

Resplendent works mostly with clients in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Clients represented from the Fayetteville office include Fayetteville Roots Festival, Ropeswing Hospitality Group of Bentonville, medical marijuana dispensary The Source in Bentonville and Little Rock-based PK Grills.
