Rogers-based America’s Car-Mart announced Monday (July 13) the opening of a new dealership in Cabot.

This will be the buy here, pay here used car dealer’s 38th dealership in Arkansas, the first to open in fiscal year 2021 and its 149th dealership. It will be managed by Dennis Johnson with the assistance of Chris Martin. It will be the second dealership managed by Johnson as the company expands the number of customers it can serve with its top managers.

“A great deal of thought and foresight is placed on our decisions about where to grow,” said Jeff Williams, president and CEO of Car-Mart. “We select communities where we believe we can fill a void when it comes to what we offer at Car-Mart. We’re different from traditional dealerships. In addition to providing quality, used vehicles we also provide financing and exceptional service after the sale. We are committed to providing peace of mind for our customers, and we believe communities are better when we are there.”

The new dealership at 177 Arena Road is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It is closed Sundays. Customers also can shop online at car-mart.com.

“We’re excited about joining the Cabot community,” Johnson said. “At Car-Mart, we offer a unique buying process for our customers where it’s not just a purchase but an experience. We get to know our customers and work closely with them on flexible financing that meets their needs and budgets.”

In the first quarter, Car-Mart also plans to open a dealership in Chattanooga, Tenn. Later this year, it looks to open dealerships in Edmond, Okla., and Norman, Okla.

Shares of Car-Mart (NASDAQ: CRMT) closed Monday at $86.41, down 74 cents or 0.85%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $129.70 and $35.18.
