The new logo for Springdale was announced Friday (Jan. 22) during the 94th annual Springdale Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Logo components will be incorporated by the chamber, Springdale Public Schools and the City.

The Springdale Chamber of Commerce has released a “Springdale is Open for Business” playbook to assist businesses during the process of navigating a post-coronavirus economy.

“To ensure the safety of our community, and to help businesses navigate the new normal, we prepared this playbook,” Chamber president Perry Webb said in a statement. “Divided by business sector, it gives business owners a valuable resource as they begin to evaluate how to reconfigure their standard operations.”

The 33-page document addresses specific sectors like childcare facilities, professional services, retail, real estate, entertainment and more. It draws upon the guidelines established by federal and state health authorities and will continue to be modified as the country gradually re-opens.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson has made several announcements in the past week with new guidance for re-opening numerous areas of the Arkansas economy.
