Venture Center preps for 2019 Pitch ‘N Pint competition

The Venture Center will host its 2019 Pitch ‘N Pint competition on December 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at South on Main in Little Rock.

Pitch ‘N Pint is a 60-second pitch competition that pits entrepreneurs in a real-time “Shark Tank” style pitch competition where winners leave with cash.

Entrepreneurs will deliver their 60-second elevator pitches to investors, judges, and a crowd of start-up supporters. Onlookers’ votes are tallied instantly via state-of-the-art, text-your-vote technology.

“We have a wonderfully supportive community for entrepreneurs, and South on Main is the perfect place to launch our up-and-coming Arkansas businesses to the next level,” said Wayne Miller, Executive Director of The Venture Center. “Matt and Amy Bell embody the intersection of successful entrepreneurship and community support, and we’re excited to have one of our most anticipated community events on their stage.”

The prize pool includes:

• Judge’s Choice Winner: $5,000 Seed Capital
• Audience First Place Winner: $1,000 Seed Capital
• Audience Second Place Winner: $500 Seed Capital
• Audience Third Place Winner: $250 Seed Capital
• Ugly Sweater Winner: $100 Prize (Audience may participate)
