Youthful talent is a precious commodity in any field, and once a year the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal recognizes the youthful leaders of our region with a new Forty Under 40 class. The profiles will introduce you to the class of 2019, who work as professionals and volunteers in a wide range of fields to improve their community.

As usual, the honorees come from an array of industries and all corners of our six-county coverage area. There are 25 men and 15 women.

We received more than 100 nominations for this year’s Forty Under 40 class. They were submitted in an effort to recognize personal and professional accomplishments.

Friends, business associates, employers and industry partners of our honorees thought enough of their talents to nominate them. We had the tough task of narrowing down an impressive group of recommendations to finalize this year’s class.

It’s always fun — despite the extra hours and rewrites — for us to put together these classes and provide a glimpse of where the honorees came from and where they’re headed. Of course, we can’t fit all of what they shared with us in the magazine, but it’s our hope we’ve painted an accurate picture of their successes.

And it is our sincere hope that our readers enjoy the finished product. Click here to meet this year’s Forty Under 40 honorees.

Editor’s note: Profiles for this year’s Forty Under 40 class were compiled and written by Jeff Della Rosa, Paul Gatling, Robin Mero and Nancy Peevy.
