Scott Turner, who has been a director for the Walmart U.S. e-commerce team since joining the retail giant as a result of the 2016 Jet.com acquisition, has left the company. According to a recent LinkedIn post, Turner noted his first day at Rockets of Awesome, a digital apparel brand based in New York City, was July 22.

Walmart had no comment on Turner’s departure. Turner’s exit from Walmart’s online business unit fell in line with the restructuring recently announced by Walmart e-commerce U.S. President CEO Marc Lore. The Jet.com management team is being folded into Walmart.com, though the two sites will remain separate for now.

Turner’s new position is senior vice president responsible for digital and marketing at Rockets of Awesome. He’ll report to COO Anneke Jong, and founder and CEO Rachel Blumenthal, who has been building the business beyond its origin as a clothing subscription platform by allowing shoppers to buy the kids apparel a piece or two at a time.

Rockets of Awesome has been a digital retailer that is now pursuing in-store shops at Kids Foot Lockers as well as selling merchandise on the Kids Foot Locker website.
