North Little Rock-based Garver, the largest engineering, planning, architectural and environmental services firm in Arkansas, is expanding its headquarters with the recent acquisition of two buildings at 7700 Northshore Place. The property is just around the corner from Garver’s primary building at 4701 Northshore Drive, contains two 5,000-square-foot buildings and an additional future building site, and was acquired from M & S Property Investments LLC for $1.18 million.

The property previously served as headquarters for a regional restaurant franchisee, as well as an office for Cantrell Drug.

Jeff Hathaway, president at Little Rock commercial real estate services firm Hathaway Group, represented the seller in the transaction.

Garver, founded in 1919, has nearly 600 employees spread between 28 offices in 11 states. The firm provides engineering, architectural and environmental services.

“Their three-story flagship building is a signature feature of Northshore Business Park, situated near the park’s entrance,” Hathaway said “It’s great to see a firm with such national reach expand its presence here in central Arkansas. There was a lot of competing interest in the property.”
