Home BancShares president, CEO Randy Sims adds title of vice chairman
Randy Sims, president and CEO of publicly traded Conway-based Home BancShares Inc., has added the titles of vice chairman of Home BancShares and executive chairman of its subsidiary, Centennial Bank.
Sims will replace Robert Adcock, who was vice chairman of Home BancShares.
John Allison remains chairman of Home BancShares and his role is unchanged, according to a company news release. He will continue to advise the bank and remain focused on holding company activities such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives and working with the investment community, according to the company.
Tracy French remains as CEO of Centennial Bank and Adcock remains as vice chairman of Centennial Bank.
“I have worked with Johnny for 32 years and he has been my mentor,” Sims said in a statement. “The fundamental principles that this company was built on are the principles that Johnny and I created to make this company a success. The bank will continue down the path that we have already created.”
Home BancShares reported first-quarter earnings on Thursday. Shares of the holding company (NASDAQ: HOMB) closed Thursday at $19.12. The share price has ranged in the past 52 weeks between $24.56 and $15.35.
