AAAB planning ‘East Meets West’ business luncheon
The nonprofit Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses (AAAB) will host a business luncheon Feb. 13 to celebrate the Lunar New year with the Asia-related business community in Arkansas.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at A.W. Lin’s Asian Cuisine Restaurant in Little Rock. Arkansas Lt. Governor Tim Griffin and John Lenhart, senior director of global government affairs, are the guest speakers.
“As Arkansas’ profile continues to rise in the global economy, it is important for us to establish and nourish a support system for local professionals to connect and share resources on their journeys related to Asia,” Dr. Yang Luo-Branch, founder and president of the AAAB, said in a statement. “This event is a great networking opportunity for professionals like me, who are of Asian ethnicity, as well as Arkansas entrepreneurs who do business with Asian countries.”
Attendees must pre-register for the luncheon at this link. This is the second time the AAAB is hosting the event. In 2018, featured speakers were Gov. Asa Hutchinson and Arkansas entrepreneur and widely known television host, P. Allen Smith.
