J.B. Hunt to pay 24-cents per share dividend to shareholders

J.B. Hunt Transport Services on Nov. 16 will pay a cash dividend of 24-cents per share to stockholders of record as of Nov. 9. The Lowell-based carrier announced the dividend payment Thursday (Oct. 18).

The company has paid a dividend of 24-cents per share over the past four quarters.

J.B. Hunt reported Oct. 15 that third-quarter earnings increased 30.6% to $131.11 million, or $1.19 per share, and revenue for the period ending Sept. 30 rose 19.9% to $2.21 billion.

Shares of J.B. Hunt (NASDAQ: JBHT) were trading Thursday afternoon at $109.93, down $2.27 or 2.02%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $131.74 and $100.78.
