Capitol Advisors Group announced the addition of Nicole Gillum, who will serve as general counsel for the Little Rock-based lobbying firm. In addition to working as a full-time lobbyist, she will provide legal guidance on clients’ regulatory and legislative issues.

Gillum interned with Capitol Advisors Group in 2016. She also formerly held clerkships with top Arkansas law firms including Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, PLLC; Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP; Gill Ragon Owen, PA; and the Barber Law Firm, PLLC.

“Nicole is smart and has a unique understanding of how legal issues intersect with politics and public policy,” said Bill Vickery, Capitol Advisors Group managing partner. “Having her on staff strengthens our ability to help clients with regulations and policies, which is especially critical as we go into the next legislative session.”

Gillum graduated cum laude from the William H. Bowen School of Law and received her juris doctorate in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Arkansas Tech University.
