The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal is pleased to introduce our 10 honorees for the 2018 Women in Business awards program. Honorees represent women from a variety of careers, who have a forged a path of success for others to emulate.

Now in its fourth year, this year’s Women in Business awards received the most nominations since we started the recognition program in 2015. All of them were top-notch, and I want to extend a sincere congratulations to each of them. It made our job of selecting this year’s group all the more difficult.

If you nominated someone who was not chosen, I would encourage you to nominate them (and others) again next year. Nominations are accepted throughout the year with a deadline of April 2019, and many of this year’s nominees will undoubtedly be named winners in the future.

We ultimately chose these 10 for their leadership, drive and commitment to serving the Northwest Arkansas and Fort Smith regions. From their professional accomplishments to the energy they pour into their communities, their contributions are important to the two regions. I hope you enjoy getting to know a little bit more about them and reading their thoughts on a number of topics including leadership, mentoring and balancing career and family.

These women will get special recognition from the Business Journal at a networking reception Tuesday (June 26) starting at 5:30 p.m. at The Apollo on Emma in downtown Springdale.

Congratulations to the 2018 Women in Business honorees.
