Watch the Second Congressional District Democratic debate
On Wednesday night (April 4), the four Democratic candidates vying for the Second Congressional District nomination will square off in their first debate.
Democrats Gwen Combs, Jonathan Dunkley, Paul Spencer and Clarke Tucker will answer questions on domestic and foreign issues.
The one-hour debate will be from 7-8 p.m. at the television studios of KATV Ch. 7 in downtown Little Rock.
KATV and Talk Business & Politics will partner on the debate with KATV’s lead anchor Chris May moderating. KATV’s lead political reporter and weekend anchor Janelle Lilley and Talk Business & Politics’ editor-in-chief Roby Brock will quiz candidates on a series of questions.
The event won’t be open to the public due to space limitations, but it will be broadcasting live at this link, on KATV.com, on both news organizations’ Facebook pages, and on KUAR 89.1 FM.
The winner of the Democratic primary on May 22nd will face incumbent U.S. Rep. French Hill, R-Little Rock, and Libertarian Joe Swafford in November.
