Entergy Arkansas promotes Landreaux, Kennedy
Entergy Arkansas, a company of energy provider Entergy Corp., has promoted Laura Landreaux to finance director, and Tom Kennedy to vice president of regulatory and governmental affairs. The company announced the promotions Monday (Dec. 18).
Landreaux has served as vice president of regulatory affairs since 2014, and Kennedy has been vice president of public affairs since 2000. Landreaux will continue to serve as a member of President and CEO Ricky Riley’s strategic leadership team, while Kennedy will take on overseeing regulatory affairs.
“Both Laura and Tom have had tremendous track records in their careers to date and have been valuable members of my lead team,” Riley said. “These appointments allow us to keep our leadership team intact while giving both Laura and Tom an opportunity for growth.”
Entergy Arkansas provides electricity to about 700,000 customers in 63 counties. Parent company Entergy Corp. focuses on electricity generation and retail energy distribution. The power plants it owns have about 30,000 megawatts of electric generating capacity, including almost 10,000 megawatts of nuclear power. Entergy has 2.9 million utility customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, annual revenue of about $10.8 billion and more than 13,000 employees.
