J.B. Hunt announces 23-cent cash dividend
J.B. Hunt Transport Services will pay a 23-cents per share cash dividend on Aug. 18 to stockholders of record as of Aug. 7. The Lowell-based carrier announced the dividend payment Thursday (July 20).
This is the third consecutive quarter J.B. Hunt said it would pay a 23-cents per share cash dividend to stockholders.
On July 17, the carrier reported second-quarter earnings fell 6% and issued lowered 2017 expectations. In the quarter, earnings declined to $97.9 million, or 88 cents per share, from $105 million, or 92 cents per share, in the same period in 2016. Revenue rose 7% to $1.73 billion.
Shares of J.B. Hunt (NASDAQ: JBHT) were trading at $91.34, down 36 cents, or 0.39%, as of mid-day Thursday. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded between $102.38 and $76.20.
