Regional title company Waco Title Co. of Springdale is planning to move about 55 employees into a new corporate headquarters along Interstate 49 in Springdale.

Construction is on schedule for the approximately 15,000-square-foot building at 2592 S. 48th St. Waco Title acquired the 2.3-acre lot last fall from the Ozark Guidance Center Foundation for $809,832 ($8.01 per square foot).

Brian Blackman, Waco Title’s COO, said two offices will be consolidated into the new building — the existing Springdale office in Har-Ber Meadows and the title production facility in Lowell.

Both offices are in leased space. The new building, being built next to BNSF Logistics, should be complete by the end of October.

“We’ve been lacking an official headquarters, and this [building] gives us that, gets us our leadership all in one place, and also gives us the ability to bring more of our people under one roof,” he said. “We’ll have our logo on the building exterior, and that’ll give us more visibility than we’ve had in the past.”

Commerce Construction Co. of Springdale is the contractor leading the project. The building was designed by Hight Jackson Associates of Rogers.

Waco Title is owned by Arvest Bank Group and is led by CEO Patrick Curry. The firm has 21 offices in Missouri and Arkansas and “just under” 200 employees, Blackman said.
