Arvest Central Mortgage named to Fannie Mae’s STAR program
Arvest Central Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank, was named a Servicer Total Achievement and Rewards (STAR) Performer for general servicing for 2016, according to a news release. The bank announced Tuesday (May 9) that Fannie Mae recently recognized the company for the honor.
The STAR program “establishes a transparent and formal framework to recognize Fannie Mae servicing partners for their competency, capacity and overall performance,” according to the release. “This performance management framework supports a comparative program designed to gauge relative performance.”
The following are the three STAR Performer categories: general servicing, solution delivery and timeline management. Arvest Central Mortgage participated only in the general servicing category for 2016.
Steven Plaisance, president and CEO of Arvest Central Mortgage, was pleased with the recognition. “Our team members work hard to take care of our customers and our business partners,” he said. “Mortgage services have a tremendous amount of responsibility that goes beyond collecting payments. We really gain tremendous satisfaction in assisting homeowners in need of help by providing options and solutions to keep families in their homes.”
Mortgage servicers are chosen to take part in the STAR program based on their portfolio size. Arvest Central Mortgage provides servicing and subservicing of more than $40 billion in mortgages for its more than 200,000 customers.
