U.S. Sen. Boozman selected to chair three Senate subcommittees
U.S. Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., has been named chairman of three Senate subcommittees, according to a statement from his office.
Boozman will chair the following subcommittees in the 115th Congress:
• The Committee on Appropriation’s Subcommittee on Homeland Security;
• The Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry’s Subcommittee on Commodities, Risk Management and Trade; and
• The Committee on Environment and Public Works’ Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water and Wildlife.
“I am grateful to be entrusted by my colleagues with the leadership of these important subcommittees. I look forward to working to safeguard our country, continuing to be a voice for Arkansas agriculture and improving our water quality and quantity needs,” Boozman said in the statement.
Boozman also serves on the Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, the Appropriations Committee, the Budget Committee, the Environment and Public Works Committee, and the Veterans Affairs Committee.
In addition to his chairmanship responsibilities, Boozman will serve on the following subcommittees.
