inVeritas CEO opens jury selection firm
Ruth Whitney, CEO of Little Rock-based public affairs firm inVeritas, has launched a new firm called Select Litigation, focusing on jury selection and litigation support services. The company will be based in Washington, D.C.
“inVeritas has been doing this work throughout the country with significant success,” Whitney said in a statement. “Select Litigation was founded to focus specifically on jury selection and litigation support and to continue to provide the exceptional service to our clients.”
inVeritas was founded by Whitney in 2009 and also has offices in Rogers and Washington, D.C. The company will continue to focus on public relations, management consulting, government relations and market research. Select Litigation employees will have experience in litigation support work in cases involving banking and finance, fraud, securities and white collar crime, among others.
A centerpiece of the Selection Litigation approach is the Integrated Selection Model, a predictive model that provides precise, data-rich guidance for jury selection. The data components for the model include community surveys, background research on members of the jury pool, custom-designed juror questionnaires, mock trials and focus groups.
Additional services include witness background research, consulting on litigation and appellate strategies, argument preparation, exhibit preparation and review, and statistical analytics.
“We use the most advanced research methods available to help our clients have a successful outcome in the courtroom,” Whitney said. “We pride ourselves in providing the most detailed information and sophisticated analysis, custom-designed for each individual client.”
