Boston coming to the Walmart AMP, Verizon Arena in April
The rock band Boston’s Hyper Space Tour is stopping in Rogers and North Little Rock this spring.
Boston has been added to the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion’s (AMP) Cox Concert series lineup and will play 7:30 p.m. on April 25 at the Rogers venue. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 24, and prices range from $36 to $75.50.
The band will perform 7:30 on April 26 at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 17, and prices range from $36 to $79.
The band debuted in 1976, and “with over 31 million albums sold to date, Boston has stood the test of time,” according to an AMP press release.
Its first record, which was self-titled, sold 17 million copies in the U.S., hitting number three on the Billboard charts. Top singles included “More Than a Feeling” and “Long Time.” The second and third albums, in 1978 and 1986, each hit number one, selling seven times Platinum and four times Platinum, respectively.
The single “Amanda,” from the third album, titled Third Stage, also reached number one on Billboard.
Boston also released albums in 1994, 2002 and 2013.
The Hyper Space Tour will include 48 shows and launches April 14 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla.
Blink-182 will also perform at both venues: April 22 at the AMP and May at Verizon Arena.
Other upcoming concerts at Verizon Arena include Twenty One Pilots on March 3, Green Day March 8, Brantley Gilbert on April 21 and Tom Petty April 23.

The AMP’s Cox Series debuts with Blink-182, followed by Train on May 22 and Third Eye Blind July 12. Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton will play July 18, and Tedeschi Trucks Band with the Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna will play July 25. Lady Antebellum will play Aug. 5 with Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young.
