Already vice president of L&L Metal Fabrication at the age of 25, Brandon White has been working in the stainless steel business for 12 years. When he was 13 years old, White made the transition from playing summer sports to working full time by his father’s side.

It’s a decision that has paid off immensely, and White credits his father for instilling a strong work ethic within him.

“He was dedicated to his work day in and day out,” White said. “He gave up basically everything for this company,”

Ten years ago, L&L Metal was worth about $200,000. Now White estimates the value to be $5.5 million.

L&L, which employs 25-40 employees, worked on the Donald W. Reynolds Stadium with New Century Marketing and is currently working on the Tyson Corporate Lab.

Because of his age, White said he has had to learn how to gain the respect of older employees.

“The most difficult thing is being able to manage employees that are older than I am and earn their respect. I do it by getting in there and doing the work with them and proving myself,” White said.

When not working, White serves with Ducks Unlimited in Fayetteville and Springdale.
