One of the state’s top home mortgage lenders is undergoing a change in leadership.

Kay Weiderhaft, Arkansas regional manager for Bank of Arkansas Mortgage and a longtime lender in the Northwest Arkansas market, recently retired.

Bank of Arkansas Mortgage is part of BOK Financial, a $30 billion financial services company headquartered in Tulsa. Weiderhaft’s position oversees the Bank of Arkansas Mortgage team at its offices in Bentonville, Fayetteville and Little Rock.

Bank of Arkansas Mortgage serviced nearly $1 billion in loans in 2015.

“Kay was instrumental in the growth of this market and supporting the
needs of homeowners and our employees,” said Leah Harper, BOK Financial’s vice president of corporate communications. “We certainly wish her well.”

Harper said BOA is finalizing a search for Weiderhaft’s replacement, and expects to make an announcement in the coming weeks.
