John Curreri has been promoted to regional manager of Bank of Arkansas Mortgage, the company announced Oct. 19.

Curreri, who is based in Little Rock, replaces Kay Weiderhaft, a longtime lender in the Northwest Arkansas market who recently retired.

Curreri, who has more than 18 years of experience in the mortgage industry, will oversee the Bank of Arkansas Mortgage team in its offices in Bentonville, Fayetteville and Little Rock. He was previously a sales manager in the company’s Little Rock office.

Bank of Arkansas is part of BOK Financial Corp., a $30 billion financial services company headquartered in Tulsa.

“John is highly experienced with managing large levels of production, and I know he’ll leverage that experience for continued success,” Ed Adams, retail channel leader for Tulsa-based BOK Financial, said in a news release.  “I’m confident he will continue to promote our strong culture of support for the local real estate community and the clients we serve.”

Bank of Arkansas Mortgage serviced nearly $1 billion in loans in 2015 and is regularly among the state’s top mortgage lenders by loan volume.
