Googles Online Shopping Service Expands to Northwest Arkansas
Northwest Arkansas residents now have another delivery option for shopping — Google Express.
Google’s relatively new overnight and two-day delivery service launched Tuesday to a large part of the Midwest, including parts of Arkansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Missouri, Ohio and Texas.
Google Express can be accessed here.
According to a news release, Northwest Arkansas residents will now be able to shop online at a handful of stores, including Kohl’s, Walgreens and Whole Foods Market, from their mobile phones or laptops.
Google said in a release that most of the state’s 2 million residents (98.2 percent) are now covered by the expansion. It now includes residents in Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Conway, Jonesboro, El Dorado, Harrison, Mountain Home and those cities’ surrounding areas.
Google Express was previously only offered in the Little Rock and Hot Springs areas.
The service is available through two payment options: an annual membership for $95, or the pay-as-you-go method, starting as low as $4.99 per order.
