Tyson Foods Hires E-Commerce Chief
Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale has named Tim Madigan to the newly created position of vice president of e-commerce.
Madigan spent the last two years at SC Johnson, initially as North American e-commerce director, and later as global e-commerce director.
“Given Tim’s extensive experience, we believe he’ll have an immediate impact on our ability to succeed in this critical channel, which we expect to deliver growth for many years to come,” said Brett Van de Bovenkamp, senior vice president, customer growth capabilities for Tyson Foods. Madigan will report to Van de Bovenkamp and will be based in the company’s Chicago office.
Madigan began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1997 and managed several key accounts, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Sam’s Club.
From 2008 to 2014, he was based in P&G’s Northwest Arkansas office, and spent five years as team leader for Walmart’s global e-commerce, leading the establishment of P&G’s Walmart.com team.
