Stone Bank to open White Hall branch in early 2017
Mountain View-based Stone Bank is building what it calls a “financial center” in White Hall that is set to open in early 2017.
Stone Bank at White Hall will be a 5,000-square-foot facility on four acres at 7739 Sheridan Road in White Hall. The new bank will be headed by Vice President and Market Manager Kelly Williams.
“We’ve made a $3 million commitment to the White Hall community,” Stone Bank CEO Marnie Oldner said in a statement. “Our bank’s roots are in Jefferson County and we believe that the businesses and families of the White Hall community will embrace our banking concepts and enjoy working with the local banking professionals that will be managing the bank.”
White Hall Mayor Noel Foster said the bank’s location is along a growing route.
“We have a lot of developers looking at this corridor as key to the future of Jefferson County. I believe this new bank will soon be surrounded by motels, restaurants, retail establishments and professional buildings. And with the highway department’s plans to expand the road to five lanes, Sheridan Road will become one of our cities main arteries,” Foster said in the bank’s statement.
Stone Bank was founded when a group of Mountain View businessmen purchased the charter of the Bank of Altheimer in 2007. In addition to the headquarters in Mountain View, the bank has an office in Little Rock and will break ground on branch operation in Harrison, Ark., later this year.
“Our management team has been studying the latest trends in the delivery of banking products and has designed an ‘outside the box’ plan which utilizes ‘untethered bankers’ who are armed with tablets that bring the bank to the customer,” said Kirby Williams, senior vice president for retail banking with Stone Bank.
The White Hall bank will include detached pavilion with a full kitchen and facilities for community events.
