Bentonville Beer is the Best

Men’s Journal, the monthly men’s lifestyle magazine, recently published its list of the 50 best beer stores in America, and the New York-based magazine named Walton Blvd. Wine & Spirits in Bentonville as its top choice in Arkansas.

The article, written by Matt Allyn, considered any store with a healthy stock and reputation for championing craft beer. “Then, we looked at selection, service, events, outreach, and even how beer is stored (cold and out of UV light is best),” Allyn wrote.

WBWS opened in December 2013 and is owned by Fayetteville attorney Erik Danielson, who is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 2014 Forty Under 40 class.

Danielson said he was pleasantly surprised to hear of the acknowledgment, and gave the credit to store managers David Lawson and Chuck Vinzant for consistently bringing in the latest, hard-to-come-by releases.
