USA Truck Subsidiary Hires, Promotes Staff
USAT Logistics, a division of USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren, recently some staff changes amid a rebranding effort and planned expansion.
Randy Robles of Van Buren was among the promotions. Robles, with the company since 2007, has been named director of yield management, tasked with driving collaborative activities between the trucking and logistics division of the company, with the goal of enhancing efficiency, according to a USAT press release.
Matt Lacy has been named director of regional network, overseeing the development and marketing strategies of the company’s nine regional sales and operations centers throughout the country.
Previously, he served as regional manager for Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico. Lacy will continue to work out of USAT’s executive offices in Dallas.
USAT has also hired industry veterans Sig Cruz, former regional sales manager of XPO Logistics in North Carolina, to lead its enterprise business development strategy and Sharon Siar, former Dallas branch manager at BNSF Logistics, as manager of agent development.
“With our new rebranding efforts underway, we hope to overcome the marketplace headwinds by investing in the assets that drive our business — people,” Jim Craig, president of USAT, said in the release. “We are aggressively developing and pursuing talent at all of our regional centers as well as our executive offices in Dallas. Matt, Randy, Tim and Caleb are all proven performers who we believe are well-qualified to help us reach our objectives. Sig and Sharon are huge additions to our team and should provide real depth and market reach.”
USAT Logistics was previously known as Strategic Capacity Solutions. The rebranding was announced in April.
