Allegiant Air offering direct flights from Little Rock to L.A.
Allegiant Air has opened direct flights from Little Rock to Los Angeles, available now through August 15 from Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Allegiant has a full schedule now available from its official website. Departing flights were available on Friday (June 3) for $178 per ticket, hovering in the $93-$144 range from June 10 through the end of the month.
“Air service options are driven by demand,” said Ron Mathieu, Clinton National Airport Executive Director. “This route was extremely popular last year, which led to its return for this summer.”
From Little Rock, Allegiant also offers nonstop service to Orlando-Sanford International Airport. The budget carrier serves more than 100 cities nationwide.
Six commercial airlines offer nonstop flights to 14 cities from Clinton National, including Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Orlando, Charlotte, Baltimore and Detroit. GLO airlines began direct service to New Orleans in November 2015, and Southwest began direct flights to St. Louis in January.
As Arkansas’ largest commercial airport serving nearly 2 million passengers annually, Bill and Hillary Clinton National boasts approximately 70 daily arrivals and departures. The state of Arkansas estimates that the airport makes a $1.2 billion economic impact each year.
