4 Wheel Concepts Bound for Moberly Lane
Construction is nearing completion on a 9,043-SF building in Bentonville that will be the home of auto accessories retailer 4 Wheel Concepts.
Triple Oaks Investments LLC of Bentonville is the general contractor of the building at 3011 S.E. Moberly Lane, and First Bank in Rogers is financing the project. Architects 226 of Fayetteville handled the design work.
The site is between Frank Fletcher Honda and RE/MAX Real Estate Results, and was purchased by 4WC owner Jason Williams in January 2014 for $550,000.
“We’re grateful to have it,” he said. “That’s probably the last piece of dirt on Moberly with exposure to Interstate 49.”
The store will relocate to the larger building from its current location, about 6,500 SF of leased space in a 10,000-SF building at 2810 S. Walton Blvd. Williams said the move should occur the week of March 21.
“The showroom will be about the same size, but the shop space is much larger,” Williams said. “We’re going from two [auto] bays to seven.”
Williams, a Bentonville native, founded 4WC in 2005. The retailer offers a wide range of services to Jeeps, trucks and sport-utility vehicles, including window tinting, custom wheels and tires, lift kits and chrome accents.
“We’re more diversified than most people think,” he said.
Williams said 4WC had revenue “over seven figures” in 2015. The business employs five people.
“On a busy day we’ll run 15 to 20 vehicles through the shop,” he said.
That number may increase in the future. More than a dozen automobile dealerships are located on Southeast Moberly Lane.
“Just in terms of advertising spill over [from the dealers] and visibility on Moberly, I expect growth over the next few years will be greater than years past.”
