ATU-Ozark spring enrollment up 2.45%
Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus had 2.45% growth in spring enrollment with 1,801 students compared to last spring, which saw an enrollment of 1,758 students. Fall 2016 applications increased 170% from last spring.
Chief Student Officer Richard Harris said ATU-Ozark recognizes paying for college can be a challenge and is proud the institution can continue to offer higher education at lower costs to students.
“Dynamic changes in funding throughout the state can make paying for college difficult for some. We are excited to be able to help fund our students and while we have some of the lowest tuition rates in the state, we are happy to relieve some of the financial burden. I congratulate all our scholarship recipients.
“In addition to available summer and fall scholarships, we just completed construction of a state of the art Health Science and Wellness Building, which will enhance the quality education and campus experience students receive,” Harris added.
