The hardworking single mother of two always knew she wanted to be a “difference maker.”

Tracy Triplett started working full-time jobs when she was 13. In college, she worked overnight as a police dispatcher to pay for her education.

In 2007, the Denver native graduated from the University Of Arkansas School Of Law. She became a federal prosecutor nine months after passing her bar exam.

As an assistant U.S. attorney in the Western District of Arkansas, she established and led the state’s first federal financial crimes taskforce.

Her Walmart career started at 15, and she’s worked for the company five times over the past 25 years.

In 2011, she returned to Walmart to work in financial services compliance and legislative affairs. The following year, she was promoted to director of global investigations.

In this position, she led a team of 18 corporate fraud investigators and oversaw all internal investigations for Walmart.

A career highlight was managing the team and hiring about 20 people. She enjoyed watching them succeed and to see them pass on their knowledge to others, helping them in their careers.

She’s still a mentor to 11 people, nine of whom work in investigations.

In June, she started as a market manager, overseeing 10 stores and nearly 3,000 associates in southwest Missouri, and continues to provide guidance to store managers, who pass that knowledge on to associates.

She serves as a Women in Retail Global Ambassador for Asda and is on the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Council for Arkansas and leadership council for Single Parent Scholarship Committee.

The Denver Broncos fan enjoys attending the team’s NFL games, camping and fishing.
