NUMMI, or the New United Motor Manufacturing Inc., was the former joint venture between Toyota and GM that is credited with saving the U.S. auto industry by producing better quality cars and lower production costs.

During the workshop, co-presented by Yoshino and Sullivan, attendees will relive the actual events that the Toyota executives experienced during the NUMMI start-up, organizers say.
