Arvest Ranked Among Best Banks By GOBankingRates
With total assets exceeding $15 billion, Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank is the state’s biggest bank.
And in the opinion of personal financial website GOBankingRates, Arvest is also one of the nation’s best banks.
The website has ranked Arvest among the top 10 banks in the country in its “Best Banks of 2016.” Arvest is ranked in the top 10 in the Best Checking Account category, for its Free Blue Checking account. The bank launched the checking account in November 2011 for clients who wanted a checking account without a monthly maintenance fee.
“Even though it doesn’t earn interest, its minimum deposit of $50 and $17 NSF fee are lower than the fees charged by many of the other accounts surveyed for GOBankingRates’ 2016 Best Banks rankings,” GOBankingRates reports. “The account also includes free online and mobile banking, free notary services and free checks for customers 62 and older.
