In a strange twist, Fort Smith acting City Administrator Jeff Dingman went back in time to fire legendary U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves, according to less-than-legendary newsman Dawson Meadows.

As of Thursday, there was no DeLorean parked in a city parking lot.

Meadows also provides analysis on solar power, and the relationship between hikers, train travel and fast Internet speeds. Apparently, a national telephone company has rolled out a new faster service long after Cox Communications beat them to the punch.
