MOD Restaurant to Open in Midtown

Mario Valdovino will soon a launch a side project that Northwest Arkansas foodies will be interested in.

Valdovino, the corporate executive chef and director of culinary innovation, research and development for Tyson Foods Inc., is planning to open a restaurant in downtown Bentonville called MOD Restaurant & Social. It will be in a 2,000-SF space on the west side of the new Midtown Center.

And since we know you’re curious, MOD is an acronym for Modern Ozark Dining. The restaurant is targeted for a late January or early February opening.

We’ll have more details about this restaurant in our next issue, but suffice it to say the culinary scene in Bentonville continues to be more diverse.
