Boozman to Speak at JBU Winter Graduation
U.S. Sen. John Boozman will speak at the John Brown University winter commencement, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Dec. 9 at Bill George Arena in Siloam Springs, JBU announced on Thursday.
Sen. Boozman served five terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, before he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2011.
He serves on five committees and chairs two subcommittees. He is part of the Congressional Study Group on Europe, and is one of six Congressional Regents on the Smithsonian Institute’s Board of Regents.
He also serves on the Commission on Security Cooperation in Europe.
Boozman and his wife, Cathy, live in Rogers. They have three daughters and one granddaughter.
Those receiving a diploma at the JBU commencement ceremony include 179 undergraduate students and 123 graduate students, according to a press release.
