Retired Wal-Mart Stores Inc. executive Ann G. Bordelon is one of several new members of the leadership team recently hired by Springdale-based NOWDiagnostics Inc.

Bordelon was announced Oct. 26 as the company’s chief financial officer/chief administrative officer, Jeff Ellis was named director of sales and marketing and Adam Glasier was hired as director of finance.

“With our rapid growth and new product offerings coming to the market, we were ready to expand our leadership team to help us continue our path to changing the diagnostic industry,” CEO Kevin Clark said in a news release. “Ann, Jeff and Adam all bring a wealth of knowledge and skills that will ensure we grow efficiently and effectively, continuing to serve physicians and hospitals with the latest technology in diagnostic testing.”

The company now has 18 employees.

Bordelon spent the last 13 years working for Walmart. She was appointed CFO for the company’s Sam’s Club division in 2010 and later served as CFO for Walmart Asia.

Glasier, a Little Rock native who earned an MBA from Harvard University in 2014, spent the last year working for Walmart’s finance and strategy group.

Ellis spent the last decade working for Alere North America Inc., a leading company in the rapid diagnostic testing industry.

NOWDiagnostics (also known as NOWDx) was formed in 2012 by Jeremy Wilson, a venture capitalist and CEO of NewRoad Capital Partners (formerly NewRoad Ventures) of Bentonville, the parent company of NOWDx. The company’s goal is to develop new and easier methods of diagnosing medical problems.
